Terms and Conditions

Individual Work

Both Somatic Experiencing® and Coaching are collaborative processes with an ongoing relationship between you, the Client, and me, Betsy Kudlinski, the Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and Coach.

Hereafter, my role will be referred to as “Guide,” which means both SEP™ and Coach.

The guided experience supports the Client in establishing new nervous system patterns and outward behaviors. The guided relationship is somatic-based and collaborative. The role of the Guide is to help the Client progress toward achieving a more regulated nervous system (including working specifically with past trauma) and/or a specific, stated goal.
The Client and Guide agree to engage fully in the guided experience.
The Client recognizes that guiding is not therapy, counseling, or consulting.

Confidentiality
The Guide agrees to keep all conversations and information with the Client private and confidential, as allowable by law. The Guide may discuss the Client’s case, without names, with an accredited supervisor or consultant for the purposes of SE™ certificate requirements and furthering the Guide’s skills and ability to assist the Client. Additionally, the Guide may discuss pieces of conversations with their own intimate partner in decompression, but absolutely no personal information or distinguishing characteristics will ever be shared anywhere without the Client’s express permission. Finally, the Guide works with a professional and discrete Virtual Assistant who may have access to client information.
Exceptions may be made if there is an imminent threat of serious injury to oneself or someone else.

Guided Outcome
By entering into this relationship, the Client and Guide acknowledge that the Client desires to make a positive change or some type of improvement in his or her life. Both nervous system and behavioral change often takes time to implement and sustain. The pace of change is uncertain and varies amongst individuals. As such, the Client and Guide agree that the improvement may be incremental and will invariably take the time that it takes.

If the Guide is more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, the Client may assume that the session is canceled, and the Client shall not be responsible for any payment for that session.
  • The Client agrees to cancel and subsequently reschedule an appointment at least 8 days in advance without a change fee. Any non-emergent cancellations within 8 days may be non-refundable.

Guiding Fees
